With the Sockeye runs coming to an end and Silvers "on hold" (AKDNR has limited Silver fishing to a single bare hook until the 15th to help protect the Kings), we are doing some aggressive hiking each day in wilderness areas. Afternoons are pretty much sitting around and "chatting" with fellow RVers.
This evening the Owner and his family are hosting a "Thanksgiving dinner" for the campground. Karen is making a great salad to take over (pot luck don't you know).
Friday we leave for Seward for a couple of days of Silver (Coho) fishing with a guide we've gotten to know. There are no fishing restriction on Silvers in Seward and the daily limit is 6 per person. Silvers average 8 to 10 lbs.
Yesterday we were treated to a nice view of Mt. Redoubt....
