Well, the time has come to "bid adieu" to Soldotna. We orginally planned to wait until after Labor Day, but with freezers full of fish and having visited most of the Kenai Peninsula, we have decided to pack up and slowly work our way home through British Colombia to see new and different things.
This evening we threw a pizza party for our dear friends here at Klondike RV Park. They have been amazing and welcoming! Tomorrow morning we leave for Wilderness Park just outside Glennallen AK.
Max made his rounds and said goodbye to his many admirers. I'm convinced that 70 percent of us being so welcomed is because of "loveable Max"!

Have enjoyed keeping up on your travels and fishing and sight seeing while you have been up in Alaska. Hard to believe that it is already the middle of August. Pray for safe travels for you as you start your adventure home. keep us posted as you head back to North Dakota.
